At our family-run business, we have dedicated over 30 years to the recycling of clothing and household textiles. Throughout our journey, we have provided local communities with convenient recycling bins, enabling them to easily donate their pre-loved clothes, shoes, and household textiles.

Textile Collection Banks
Our textile collection banks offer a simple and convenient way to donate your pre-loved clothes, shoes, and household textiles. These collection banks are strategically placed for easy access and are particularly suitable for outdoor areas. They provide businesses and local community spaces with an opportunity to earn extra funds effortlessly. With a capacity to hold up to 300 kg of items, our textile collection points ensure a hassle-free donation process.

Once a collection point reaches its capacity, we will promptly schedule a pickup. You can choose to receive payment on the spot or through a pre-arranged agreement. At Ragstar, we aim to make the entire process as seamless and rewarding as possible.

To Book a School Collection:

Our free information pack includes posters and leaflets to promote within the school and share with parents. Additionally, it contains a reminder letter to help maximise collections, along with our collection bags. We also offer a photo opportunity to showcase the funds raised.

What Happens to the Items After Collection?
We want you to know that there's a lot of hard work happening behind the scenes. Here's an overview of the process that follows:

For items that may not be suitable for direct reuse, we explore innovative ways to repurpose them. This can include transforming textiles into new products or materials for various applications.
RESPONSIBLE DISPOSAL
In cases where garments cannot be reused or repurposed, we ensure they are responsibly disposed of through proper recycling methods. Our goal is to minimize waste and promote a sustainable approach to handling textiles.
SORTING
Once the items are collected, our dedicated team meticulously sorts through them. We categorize and assess the condition of each item to determine its suitability for reuse.
RECYCLING
Garments and textiles that are in good condition are set aside for reuse. We work with local organization's and communities to ensure these items find new homes and provide value to those in need.
